Boca Raton Community Hospital names Dr. Alan Mitchell to hospital staff

Alan L. Mitchell, M.D., has been appointed to the medical staff of Boca Raton Community Hospital.  He is board certified in ophthalmology. Dr. Mitchell attended medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed his internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, N.Y., and his residency at Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, N.Y. He went on to complete a refractive surgery fellowship at Casebeer Center for Refractive Surgery in Arizona.
