| Four Star Services selected the Peer Support Network in Boca Raton for its $1,000 monthly award which it donates to a charitable group. Peer Support Network is a not-for-profit, Internet-based organization providing peer-to-peer support services for newly diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors and caregivers coping with the emotional and physical challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Four Star Services, also known as 4 Star Plumbing and Air Conditioning, will donate $1,000 each month to a different charity, through August. |

| In late January, Palm Beach County Commissioners Chairman Jeff Koons will give a State of the County address at the Boca Resort and Club.
And while that address will inevitably touch on the current starkness of governmental resources at all levels – Koons is also likely to note that South County -- and Boca Raton in particular -- had a pretty good 2008, according to Palm Beach County Business Development Board (BDB) President Kelly Smallridge.
