Local high school fall sports have begun preparing for this season. Coral Springs and Parkland high school football players are gearing up for their first games. Here is a brief look at the beginning dates for local high school football teams in Coral Springs and Parkland:

Coral Glades                          Sept. 5 vs. Douglas (home)

Taravella                                Sept. 4 vs. Monarch (home)*

Coral Springs                                    Sept. 5 vs. Coconut Creek (home)

* Home games are played at Coral Springs High School.
