McCain’s VP choice, major supporter visit Boca

Presidential hopeful John McCain’s vice presidential pick and one of his longtime supporters both happened to show up in Boca Raton Monday.

Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin, fresh from her debate last week with Democratic VP choice Joe Biden, visited Boca Raton Monday night for a fund-raising dinner at the Boca Resort & Club. 

Also in Boca was Sen. Joe Lieberman, who months ago announced his endorsement of Republican McCain and has been in the area several times to speak on the candidate’s behalf.  After a stop at the Morselife campus in West Palm Beach, Lieberman held a “Town Hall-style” meeting at the Chabad of Boca Raton on Military Trail.
