Town Center at Boca Raton mall will welcome Santa Claus Friday to kick off the holiday season

Town Center at Boca Raton mall is about to light up for the holiday season.

And the cherubic face of old St. Nick himself, Santa Claus, will help brighten the atmosphere.

Town Center kicks off the holiday season with a parade and tree lighting ceremony Friday, Nov. 21.  The sixth annual event will also celebrate the arrival of Santa Claus.

Accompanying Santa on his 6:30 p.m. arrival will be the Boca Raton High School Band and Boca Raton Ballet’s Nutcracker ensemble for the annual holiday parade.

In addition, there will be a procession of toy soldiers, jugglers, snowmen and more march inside the mall, starting at the food court. 

After the parade, Santa Claus and a special guest will light the Town Center tree in the Nordstrom wing for the official opening of the holiday season.
