The law firm of Ellis, Ged, & Bodden, P.A., has announced that Victor R. Guzman has joined the firm. After graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law, Guzman began his career in New York as an Assistant District Attorney for Bronx County, and was responsible for the prosecution of violent felony offenders. Mr. Guzman moved to Florida in 1997. He served as the Lead Trial Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney in Hillsborough County before shifting his focus to civil litigation.

Boca Raton based Agilysys, Inc has announced that Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, La. has selected Agilysys to provide a wide range of software solutions for the 531-room property, which recently completed an expansion that added an eight-story atrium and more than 200 guest rooms.

Bruce Retzsch, founder and president of RLC Architects, Boca Raton, has received a 2008 Palm Beach Ultimate CEO Award from the South Florida Business Journal. Retzsch was one of nine Palm Beach County leaders, including Florida Atlantic University President Frank Brogan, to be honored this year with the award which recognizes CEOs for commitment to excellence and corporate and community leadership.

Hernan Prohaszka has been named a leasing agent for Woolbright Development.  He is responsible for leasing shopping centers in Coral Springs and Miramar. Prohaszka has five years of commercial real estate experience. He most recently was a leasing representative for Stiles Corporation. Prohaszka, a resident of Plantation, graduated from the University of Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree
