U.S. Bank honors Delray employee; donates to Literacy Coalition

U.S. Bank employee Maggie Dickenson has been honored with a U.S. Bank Five Star Volunteer Award for exceptional volunteer service, and the Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition has received $1,000 as a result.

The U.S. Bank Five Star Volunteer Award honors 135 U.S. Bank employees for exceptional volunteer service in the community in 2007. To recognize them, U.S. Bank makes donations to the nonprofit organizations where they volunteer.

Dickenson is a vice president in U.S. Bank’s merchant services division, and through her volunteer work with Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition, she has helped the organization in its mission to improve the quality of life in the community by promoting and achieving literacy.

U.S. Bancorp is the parent company of U.S. Bank.
