Young men, women called to the Torah at Temple Beth El

Several young men and women took part in bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah rites recently at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton.
Alexandra Weiss, daughter of Linda and Dennis Weiss, was called to the Torah in ceremonies at the temple. Her grandparents are Edward and Lynne Canter of Atlanta; Miriam Bronicke of Indianapolis; Isidor Weisz of Guelph, Canada, and Nikki Fader of Atlanta. Alexandra is a student at Omni Middle School and has a brother, Zachary. For her mitzvah project, she participated in Happy Socks for Rescue Shelter.
Emma Colton, daughter of Doctors Andrea and Robert Colton, made her mat mitzvah at the temple. She has three siblings, Jana, Rebecca and Katie. She is a student at Pine Crest School. For her mitzvah project, she took part in a Uganda Women Bead Project.
Tori Cleaver, daughter of Leslie and Tom Cleaver, was called to the Torah at Temple Beth El recently. Her grandparents are Myrna Zimmerman of Boca Raton, Ira Zimmerman of Miami, Olga Cleaver of Tampa and Carlie Zimmerman of Cranston, R.I. She is a student at Eagles Landing Middle School. For her mitzvah project, she took part in the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. She has one sibling, Casey.
Kylie Herman, daughter of Margie Gilbert and Les Herman, took part in her bat mitzvah ceremony at the temple. Her grandparents are Frederick and Virginia Gilbert of Boca Raton. She is a student at Don Estridge High Tech Middle School and has a sister, Samantha.
Jared Katz, son of Debby and Jeffrey Katz, took part in his bar mitzvah at the temple. Grandparents are Nancy Hite of Cincinnati, Mark Hite of Boston and Arnie and Renee Katz of Philadelphia. He has a brother, Noah.
David Kanner, son of Wendy and Sam Kanner, was called to the Torah at Temple Beth El. Grandparents are Al Spector of Coconut Creek and Richard and Regina Kanner of Costa Rica. He is a student at Don Estridge High Tech Middle School and has a brother, Steven.
