Boca Cinema Series to present ‘Shrek the Third’

Boca Raton Recreation Services continues its “Cinema in the Park” film series with a presentation of “Shriek the Third” Friday, May 16 at dusk (about 7:30 p.m.) at the Mizner Park Amphitheatre, on Federal Highway just south of Glades Road.
A family event, those planning to attend should grab a blanket or chair and head to Mizner Park for the outdoor movie showing on a 40-foot screen at the amphitheater,
“Shrek the Third” is sponsored by the city of Boca Raton, Mercantile Bank, Florida Health & Chiropractic Medicine and Sunrise Cinema. The cinema also distributes free popcorn and discount movie passes to participants.
Special cartoons will precede the feature film. Food is available for purchase, to benefit the Boca Police Explorers. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Chair rentals ($2) are available through the Explorers.
No pets, alcohol, or smoking are allowed. The film is free and open to the public.
