Arthur Johnson, 85, of Boca Raton, FL left to rest peacefully with the Lord on April 16, 2008. Art was preceded in death by his first wife Helen and son Christopher. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 36 years May, five sons: Kurt(Linda), Dean(Judy), Bob, Paul(Janet), and John(Shari), 4 daughters; Susan (Duane), Patricia (Steve), Ann Marie, and Mary Jo, 22 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and sister Bernice. BONNIE FRIEDLAND

Bonnie Friedland, of Hendersonville, departed this life on Saturday, April 19, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in New York, she grew up in Westchester County and then resided in Boca Raton and Naples, FL. She permanently moved to Hendersonville in 2004, after visiting here during the summers for ten years. Bonnie lived her live with gusto. She was an avid hiker, traveler, golfer, card player, a lover of life, and a true people person. The Family would like to give their sincere appreciation to the staff of Four Seasons Hospice and Pardee Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion during Bonnie’s illness. Survivors include her loving husband of forty-six years, George; two daughters, Tracy Friedland of Clearwater, FL, Wendy Klein, her husband Sam, and her adoring grandchild Amanda, of Alpharetta, GA; devoted brother, Donald Duberstein and his wife Phyllis, of Purchase, NY; and in-laws, Helene and Richard Britt of Boca Raton, FL.
