MICHAEL STAMOS BOCA RATON

Michael Stamos, 75, of Boca Raton, FL, beloved husband of Trudy (Barnowski) Stamos, entered peacefully into his eternal life surrounded by his loving family, on Friday (December 21, 2007). Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late John and Tsampika (Manolakis) Stamos. He served in the Navy 1951-1954. Michael was married to his high school sweetheart Trudy, for 53 years. An avid golfer, he enjoyed his Boca sunsets and was known as Uncle Mike even to those he was not related to. He was very proud of his Greek Heritage and had a passion for a fraternal organization known as AHEPA. To many of his friends he was simply known as Mr. Ahepa. He served as president of his local chapter, Hartford and Boca Raton, Florida, served his fraternity as a two time district govener, was a founding member of a local elderly housing project, co-chaired a national golf tournament and was always involved in various charitable and educational fund raising activities. Mike will not be missed by a few, but he will be missed by hundres. Besides his wife, Michael leaves behind his son John Stamos and his wife Christa of Hobe Sound, FL, a daughter, Mary Lou Lagoudakis and her husband Yannis of Crete, Greece, a sister Paraskeve Apostolidis, a brother-in-law, Leo Papas, 3 grandchildren, Jenna Rae Stamos, Haris and Manoli Lagoudakis, nieces and nephews; Elaine Papas, John Papas, Spero Papas, Tammie and her husband Jamie Fox, Billy and his wife Stephanie Apostolidis, Beka Apostolidis, great nephews; Mason and Logan Fox, and a host of numerous friends and relatives. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Papas and a brother-in-law Panteleon Apostolidis. Funeral services will be Friday (December 28, 2007) 10:30 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral 433 Fairfield Ave., Hartford. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT 4-8pm on Thursday (December 27, 2007). Donations in Michael’s name can be made to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, Boca Raton, FL

Loretta Plevniak, 80, of Boca Raton, FL, died December 14, 2007. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Kreuter. Arrangements by Gary Panoch Funeral Home.

Eula Bresnahan, 79, of Highland Beach, FL, died December 21, 2007. She is survived by her Children; Diane Foley, Susan Juvenal, Glen, Alfred, Sister Ruth Newcomb, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Gary Panoch Funeral Home.

HOWARD IRWIN DEICHERT BOCA RATON

Howard Irwin Deichert, 84, of Boca Raton passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at St. Andrew’s Medical Center. Howard proudly served his country in the US Air Force during WWII. Babione Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 561-395-8787.
