Home Burglarized
Boca police responded to a report of a burglary at an occupied residence
on Spanish River Road about 6:35 a.m. Jan. 29, police said.
The victim told officers he awoke to see a man standing in his bedroom.
Police said the victim yelled, “Hey” and the man ran out
the front door.
The homeowner described the suspect as being between 25-40 years
of age, five-foot-10 and about 175 pounds. He said the man appeared
to be either intoxicated or confused.

Stolen Card
A Boca Raton woman told police Jan. 15 that someone stole a credit
card from her wallet Jan. 11, and used it to make a purchase at a
business in West Boca, police said. The woman canceled the card after
the single purchase of $99 was made, police said.
Laptops Taken
The regional manager for a local business told Boca Raton police
Jan. 15 that someone burglarized her vehicle in a parking lot on Executive
Center Circle and stole an $800 laptop computer from the back seat,
police said.
A laptop computer was also reported stolen from another vehicle in
that same parking lot, according to police. A Boca man said it was
removed from the back seat of his car, police said.
Vehicle Entered
A Boca Raton resident told police his SUV was broken into Jan. 15.
The intruder stole a credit card, a checkbook and an Apple iPod worth
$350, police said.
Shoplifter Caught
Boca Raton police arrested a man Jan. 15 for allegedly stealing a
dress shirt, tie and billfold worth a total of $133 from Macy’s
Department Store at the Town Center at Boca Raton mall, said police.
He was processed, then released with a notice to appear in court,
police said.
