DUI Arrest
Boca Raton police arrested a woman just before 2 a.m. on Jan. 26
and charged her with driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Her car was stopped by an officer on West Palmetto Park Road, police
said. Police said she provided two breath samples.
Drug Possession
Boca Raton police arrested a local man about 3:10 a.m. Jan. 26 and
charged him with possession of .08 gram of cocaine and for possession
of drug paraphernalia. He was picked up in the parking lot of an establishment
on South Military Trail, according to reports. He was processed at
the police station, and then removed to the county jail, police said.
Outstanding Warrant
A man was arrested by Boca Raton police about 6:40 a.m. Jan. 26 on
an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a trespassing
charge. The warrant was from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, police
said. He was taken to the police station and then to the Palm Beach
County jail, police said.
Man Injured
Boca Raton police said a man fell out of a tree on NE 35th Street
just before 11 a.m. Jan. 26. Police said he was trimming the palm
tree and may have touched a power line, which caused him to fall.
Police said the man suffered only minor injuries. He was taken to
the emergency room of Boca Raton Community Hospital for treatment,
police said.
Cash Stolen
A Boca Raton woman reported to police Jan. 26 that she discovered
$9,000 was missing from her nightstand. Police continue to investigate.
Warrant Arrest
Boca Raton police were called just before midnight Jan. 26 to investigate
a report of four men who were drinking alcohol in a parking lot on
NW 13th Street. Police discovered that one of them was wanted on an
active warrant for violation of probation. He was processed and taken
to the county jail, police said.
