Home Burglarized

Boca Raton police are investigating a break reported Feb. 13 at a home on East Conference Drive.  The victim told police someone forced open the rear sliding glass door and stole electronic items, jewelry and a game system from her home, a report said.

SUV Entered

An SUV parked in the lot at Spanish River Church was entered Feb. 13, police said. The intruder smashed the rear passenger side window and removed a black backpack containing five credit cards, a Florida driver’s license and $30 in cash, police said.

Theft Reported

A man who recently resigned his employment at a Boca Raton firm apparently helped himself to company equipment. Authorities said the man made off with a laptop computer valued at $3,156, police said.

Prescription Taken

A Boca Raton resident told police Feb. 12 that someone entered her car and stole a bottle of prescription medication, police said.

Cars Entered

A Boca Raton woman told police Feb. 12 that someone burglarized her rental car, taking her passport, wallet, purse, two credit cards and cash.  The total loss was estimated by police at $400.

Also, a man told police the same day that his car was entered and his laptop computer worth $1,000 was stolen.

Home Burglarized

A Boca Raton woman told police Feb. 13 that someone broke into her home and removed a flat-screen computer with a modem and scanner, three electric guitars and a video game console with six controllers, police said.  Police said the home was entered via the front door.  The report said the resident was asleep in the house when the burglary occurred.

Drug Charge

Following a traffic stop about 6:25 p.m. Feb. 13, a man was arrested by Boca Raton police on a charge of possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, police said.  He was released on his own recognizance, police said.
