Traffic Stop

Boca Raton police arrested a woman just after midnight on Feb. 18 and charged her with willfully refusing to sign two traffic summonses and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. She was taken to the county jail.

Theft From Trailer

Boca Raton police investigated a burglary discovered Feb. 18 at a construction trailer on NW Broken Sound Boulevard, police said.  The victim said 40 spools of copper wire worth about $1,000 were taken, said police.

Fixtures Broken

A Boca Raton resident told police Feb. 18 that 13 light fixtures in the parking garage of a development on West Yamato Road were damaged.  The lenses were all broken, police were told. 

Framing Stolen

Boca Raton police are investigating the theft of $800 worth of aluminum framing that was stolen from an open trailer in front of a home on NE 15th Court, police said.

Tools Taken

The operator of a lawn service told Boca Raton police Feb. 18 that someone cut the lock on his trailer and stole several lawn care tools worth about $200.

Auto Burglarized

A student at Lynn University reported to police Feb. 18 that his car was entered.  Someone smashed the front driver’s side window and stole a GPS system worth $150, police said.

Drug Arrest

Boca Raton police arrested a 20-year-old man about 7:15 p.m. Feb. 18 and charged him with possession of a variety of drugs, including cocaine, aprazolam and marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.  He was taken into custody on East Jeffery Street and removed to the county jail, police said.

Purse Stolen

A Boca Raton woman told police that someone entered her car by smashing a side window while it was parked on North Ocean Boulevard. The intruder stole her purse containing cash and credit cards.  Police said a second vehicle in that area was also entered.
