DUI Arrest

Boca Raton police arrested the driver of a pickup truck just before 1:40 a.m. March 22 and charged him with driving while under the influence of alcohol, police said.  The report said the driver was passed out inside his truck in the traffic lane when officers found him.

Business Entered

While conducting a security check of a vacant property on North Federal Highway, police found that a bathroom window had been broken with a rock.  The window frame was pried back using an unknown tool, police said. No one connected with the business could be located, police said.

Mailbox Vandalized

A Boca Raton man told police March 22 that someone vandalized his mailbox. 

Suspended License

Boca Raton police determined that a woman who involved in a traffic accident recently on West Yamato Road was operating on a suspended/revoked license and was a habitual offender, police said.  The woman was arrested and taken to the county jail, said police.

Wallet Stolen

A Boca Raton woman told police March 22 that someone stole her wallet from her handbag while she was at work, police said.  She said the bag was taken from a locker in the area reserved for employees only, said the report.

Car Entered

A resident of north Boca Raton told police someone stole a tan bag from her car.  A witness reported seeing a juvenile run from the scene when she found out the police were on the way.  The juvenile later returned, said police.

Fixture Broken

Boca Raton police arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly breaking a $1,500 light fixture at Royal Palm Place, police said.  He was processed at the police station, then taken to the county jail, said police.

Alcohol Possession

Boca Raton police arrested a woman for possession of alcohol by a person under age 21 about 11:30 p.m. March 23 outside a local lounge.  She was issued a notice to appear and given a court date, police said.
