Tower Vandalized
Boca Raton police said Lifeguard Tower No. 6 along the city’s shoreline was vandalized with graffiti April 5. The incident was discovered by a lifeguard reporting for duty about 9:30 a.m., said police.
Stolen Bud
Two men reportedly entered a convenience store on West Palmetto Park Road about 2:20 a.m. April 5 and stole a six-pack of Budweiser, police said.
Thrown Chair
The manager of a downtown Boca Raton tattoo parlor told city police April 5 that someone threw a chair through the storefront window, according to a report. Police said they could find no witnesses, and the manager said nothing was taken.
Drug Charge
Boca Raton police arrested a man on NE 40th Street about 2:50 a.m. April 5 and charged him with possession of cocaine, police said. He was taken to the county jail, police said.
Residential Burglary
Boca Raton police said an intruder entered a vacant residence on NE 26th Terrace by crawling through an open window on the side of the house. The homeowner said nothing was taken and there was no damage, police said.
Warrant Arrest
Boca Raton police arrested a man about 11:30 a.m. April 5 on a felony warrant charging him with driving while under the influence and causing or contributing to serious bodily injury. He was booked at the police station and removed to the county jail.
Park Vandalism
Boca Raton police received a report from city officials that Boca’s skate park on Crawford Boulevard was vandalized. Officers said miscellaneous comments and a drawing were found on the ramp, police said.
Window Smashed
A Boca Raton resident told police April 5 tihat someone smashed the rear passenger side window of his car.
Car Entered
A Boca Raton man told police that while he was at the gym on April 4, someone entered his truck and stole a $3,400 Rolex watch from under the driver’s seat
