Making Marijuana
Police arrested a suspect April 6 on a charge of selling and manufacturing marijuana. According to a report, officers were called to a home on NE 4th Court just before 10 a.m. April 6 to investigate a dog bite complaint. One of the officers detected a heavy odor of marijuana. Officers went inside one of the units and found 61 marijuana plants. Officers seized them along with a shotgun and a .40 caliber handgun, police said.
Xbox Stolen
A Boca Raton resident reported to police April 6 that someone stole an Xbox from his living room. He offered police the name of a possible suspect, said the report.
Beer Theft
Boca Raton police received a report April 6 that two suspects stolen an 18-pack of Bud Lite cans from a convenience store at a gasoline station on West Glades Road. The suspects were last seen heading east on Glades Road, said police. The incident occurred about 3:10 a.m., police said.
Emblem Taken
A Boca Raton woman told police that someone stole the manufacturer’s emblem from the trunk of her car, police said. The incident was reported just before noon on April 6, said police.
Car Vandalized
A Boca Raton woman told police that someone scratched her car with a sharp object, and slashed the four tires on her car, while it was parked at the Boca Raton Tri-Rail Station on Yamato Road, police said.
Man Arrested
Boca Raton police arrested a suspect just after 6 p.m. on April 6 and charged him with driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license and for unlawful possession of prescription drugs, police said. He was released on his own recognizance, according to police.
Smashed Window
Boca Raton police said a local woman told them someone smashed the passenger side front window of her car while it was parked at home. It did not appear that anything was taken from the car, police said.
