A Man’s Eye View…

BRIONI

Neil O’Brien, vice president of special sales for legendary Italian tailors, Brioni, attended a recent trunk show at Maus & Hoffman’s Palmetto Park Road store. He told customers that a Brioni suit jacket takes 18 hours to be made. An American car is assembled in 16 hours! A made-to-order Brioni suit in exclusive luxury wools costs between $8,000 to $18,000 and take up to seven weeks to be delivered from the family owned facility in Italy. Ready to wear suits start at $5,000.

Brioni’s Spring/summer menswear collection is inspired by the company’s Roman heritage on Via Veneto in the 1950’s. Tailored clothing and sportswear colors are light and soft with a base of warm and cool neutrals: sand, stone and white. For evening, solid silver thread is woven into chic cocktail jackets in small jacquard designs, finished with solid gold and diamond buttons.
