DUIs Investigated
Boca Raton police arrested four people between Sept. 5 and Sept. 7 on charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
A man was arrested for DUI just after 2 a.m. Sept. 5 after a traffic stop on I-95, police said. He provided two breath samples.
The following day at almost the same time, police arrested a suspect for DUI after a traffic stop on North Federal Highway. He refused to give a breath sample and was taken to the county jail, police said.
A motorist was arrested for DUI after his car was involved in an accident at St. Andrews Boulevard and Verde Trail just before 7 p.m. Sept. 6.
Also, a man was arrested about 12:40 a.m. Sept. 7 on North Federal Highway for DUI, police said. He refused to take any tests, police said, and was removed to the county jail.
Alcohol Possession
Boca Raton police arrested a male and female just after midnight Sept. 5 and charged them with being under age 21 in possession of alcohol, police said. They were taken into custody on NE First Street, police said.
Disorderly Conduct
After responding to a report of a disturbance on Maya Palm Drive about 9:45 p.m. Sept. 6, police arrested a suspect for disorderly conduct; was processed and transported to the county jail, police said.
Residential Burglary
Boca Raton police are investigating a residential burglary reported Sept. 6. According to a report, someone entered a home on NW 10th Street and stole jewelry. The value of the stolen items was not immediately known, said police.
Bike Theft
A female juvenile told Boca Raton police Sept. 6 that someone stole her bicycle while it was parked in front of a friend’s house.
Purse Taken
Boca Raton police said someone entered a commercial unit on West Rogers Circle Sept. 5 and removed a woman’s purse from the top of a desk near the door. It contained $300 cash, ID cards and a debit card, police said.
