Learning about the Fresh Kitchen
The Fresh kitchen is committed to making sure that all products they sell will enhance the lives of their customers as well as the life of the planet. They make a low impact on the environment by partnering with locally sourced produce providers. They believe that wellness is more than just personal health and that it extends to the world around us as well.
Don’t take my word for it. The following is taken directly from The Fresh Kitchen’s about page.
We care about our environment, why would we want to destroy it? In an effort to protect the world we live in. We are a pioneer in the restaurant industry, using a ventless concept. We produce limited emissions into the air because we don’t use cooking equipment that makes grease. When you have emissions, it is generally caused from greasy fryers. We don’t have fryers, microwaves or anything else that could potentially make your meal not healthy. We believe in preserving the natural flavors and benefits of our ingredients.
The Latest Experience at the Fresh Kitchen
Recently, a few co-workers and I went into the Fresh Kitchen for lunch. I got a grilled chicken wrap with a ginger shot and a smoothie. The food itself was delicious.
The ingredients lived up to the hype. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy which is my favorite part of any wrap. The chicken was good although I would consider it a little light. It’s clear that they measure the portions very carefully.
I was also very pleased with the service. I asked last minute to add blueberries to my smoothie and the gentleman behind the counter was quick to accommodate me. It is always good to see an open food section and be able to see the fruits and vegetables in front of me. The smell of the juicer and the smoothie machine always makes me feel at ease.
The Final Grade
Overall we give the Fresh Kitchen a 4 out of 5.
The food is great, the problem is that they make mistakes. I have been three 3 times and each time some mistakes was made. In my last visit I asked for a sun-dried tomato wrap and as you can see from the picture, they gave me a spinach wrap. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s enough for me to question what else they are rushing.
With that being said, my suggestion would absolutely be to run in their for a healthy lunch. It is close by, they have great counter space and they have take out.
We would love to hear your thoughts! Have you been to Fresh Kitchen? What did you think of it?
